With its elliptical shape and overall size, this waterproof search coil flourishes when used in beaches, streams, creeks...essentially any terrain where relics and treasures are submerged and require accurate pinpointing. Potted with an epoxy resin, the Platypus coil is truly waterproof and has either a fitted or solid coil cover available.
